We have always favored this little taco shop - the only place I know that offers Chipalonas. Alway fresh well prepared food with a fair price and friendly smiles!
I recommend the shrimp and cabeza tacos. My kids usually get carne asada, also yumm! Everything I’ve tried is very tasty! Awesome salsa bar with everything you need. Very reasonable prices.
My family and I absolutely love this place!! Make it there every week for "Tacos Tuesday". The food is delicious and Arturo(owner & cook) and family are always friendly. Definitely a hidden gem in the Yuma Foothills. And it's BYOB which is always good too! 😊
I've eaten Mexican style tacos for about 9 yrs now in Spokane, walla Walla, and now here and I think these are the best.

Best in Yuma. Family owned. Find them in their new location on South Frontage Road east of Fortuna about half way down. So good.
Tacos are cooked right in front of you and the fixings are fresh! The fish taco is so good! A gem like this is hard to find. I love this place with all my heart!!!❤️ And BYOB is a plus!!!
Small outside stand with seating and very authentic Mexican food. Delicious!
In my opinion the best taco stand in the Foothills, if not all of Yuma. And its right next to an ice cream stand!

I have been going here for nearly 10 years. I moved away for 5 years and recently and the formula is exactly the same. Pure deliciousness, hard work and love. Best tacos I have ever had.
I'm not one to go to the same restaurant or eat the same food two days in a row. That is totally against my beliefs. I was recommended a day after I arrived in Yuma, AZ to go to Tacos El Cositas by several people in the area I was working with. I went there and had the most incredibly awesome different styles and flavors of tacos I have ever had! My fellow colleague and I loved the tacos so much the we went back there and had tacos every night of the week we were in town. That was the first time in my life I have ever wanted to repeat eating the same thing night after night. You can eat so much fabulous tacos on such little money and be completely full! I highly recommend eating there not only for the food but because of the family that owns it and runs it since 16 years ago. Customer service is authentic as well. If you are ever in the Yuma area you have to stop by Tacos El Cositas and have some incredibly delicious tacos!
Phenomenal service, and very friend. Very quick to serve you and they make very good tacos just as good as the ones in Mexico. The best Taco place I've found here so far :)

You order all your tacos & any specialy drinks that needs to be poured by the kitchen (e.g. Jamaica, Horchata) - they give you a # placard (you use this only for paying). Head to the tall coolers nearby to grab sodas (if you get bottles, head back to the ordering station for the bottle opener attached to the counter there). Sit & wait for them to call your number. When your # is called pickup your food & go to the toppings counter to add chopped cabbage, salsas, sauces, limes etc.

Throw your trash in Basura bin but put your bottles & cans in the other labelled bins. Bring your # placard to the cashier when you're ready to leave, tell them what drinks you ordered & pay via credit card 👍 or cash.
They also have a sink & soap next to the drink coolers to wash your hands 👍

Awesome tacos! They even let us bring our dogs in to sit with us while we ate, which I really appreciated because it was hot in the car!

Shrimp Tacos are soooo good! The owners, who cook and serve here, are so friendly and attentive. For being an outdoor eatery, the place is as good as you can ask for...UV shade tarps, solid frames and clean concrete with tons of parking. We showed up with a 31 ft travel trailer, no problem. This will definitely be my mandatory stop every time I’m running through Yuma!
