Review Cafe Phoenicia - Zachary

Food was okay but the servings are extremely small compared to the high price. I do not recommend if you are a person that likes to get your money worth. I attached a picture and as you see I can literally count the amount of noodles 12.. This plate cost $17.94 and I received 12 noodles and few shrimp… I will not be returning.

This is one of my favorite places in Zachary Louisiana I'm here from out of town and the food the service and the atmosphere is absolutely amazing experience

We orders dinner and had it delivered with Waitr. My gyro was amazing and my wife said her chicken Schwarma was really juicy. Hummus was great and the Pita bread was still hot when we got our food. We used Waitr code LOCAL5 and saved money on having it delivered.

I always always always have a good experience here. You walk into a clean and well decorated restaurant and are greeted and seated promptly. Sit down and your waitress is asking your drinks, you order, and the food is always so good. Food is tasty and doesn’t ever taste like it’s from a bag or frozen - always fresh with wonderful vibrant flavors. Don’t be deceived by the outside appearance! If you’re intimidated to try - ask for a Chicken Shawarma plate. It’s amazing!

Cafe Phoenicia's food is always consistently good. Their Chicken Shwarma, Kibbe, Pasta Phoenicia, Meat Mousaka- all very tasty. The salad and hummus is amazing. We dined in for a change and the service was ok. We kind of felt rushed, but maybe it was just a feeling we had. The waitress was nice, almost too nice, and at times I thought she may pull up a chair and eat with us. Lol. Overall great time. Glad Zachary has this staple restaurant in town.

We’re eating now. The food is amazing, the service is wonderful. You have to try the Eggplant Napoleon! Of course, we love everything on the menu! But they need to put calamari back on the menu. I’m sorry to have to edit this but the lobster soup is SWEET! I sent it back. The kibbee is not as good. The cracked wheat crust is mushy. Please go back to the way things were!

Absolutely loved it! Friendly service, great margaritas, food was fantastic! A lil pricey but definitely worth it!

I frequented this place twice a week. Then they changed their ingredients to include soy which I’m allergic to. Sorry to say I haven’t been back since.

OMG! The best. Servers are not always attentive,but the delicious food makes up for it.

We just walked into the restaurant and there was a man sleeping at a table and a woman sleeping at the bar. The bartender looked at me, and turned away. My husband walked in about a minute after me and I said they are sleeping. The guy at the table picked his head up, yawned and put it back down. Obviously they were conserving their energy for the dinner rush, but at least sleep in the back of the house!

This restaurant was, simply amazing! The service so fast! We had a waitress that was very good and made great suggestions. She had a great smile and thank us before our departure. Service was 100%! Thank You!
