Review Le Blanc's Drive Inn - Zachary

Small store old school down home cooking. Good portions and better food. Sometimes having to wait a few minutes really pays off. You shouldn't be disappointed if you like real food not corporate chains.

Sign said “ Good food not fast food” and they weren’t kidding, it took 40 minutes for 2 burgers and 2 curly fries… I don’t mind waiting and yes they were busy but with 8 people working the front counter more worried about whose having and issue with who and discussing it in front of your patrons is so unprofessional and adds to the irritation of waiting on food, if 8 people have time to chit chat about other coworkers then a 40 minute wait for 2 burgers is ridiculous. If I’m ever in that area again, this wouldn’t be a stop I’d make. Good food or not,the attitudes of the young women at the counter was so off putting.

Probably the best hamburgers in all of Baton Rouge and the surrounding area. I have been coming here since I was a child and I can’t remember a time the food hasn’t been good. Always delicious and clean!

Food was very good. They just forgot the salad dressing on both my son's and my meals. Not a big complaint though.

Had a great burger and fries. Super quick even during the lunch rush. The plate lunches looked awesome also.

Delicious hamburgers and seasoned curly fries. One of their most popular items is the nachos! Have to get them every time!

Just ok, not a huge fan but food is average. Seems a little slow coming out sometimes. Price is little above what I expected. They are competing with the chains so specials or value meals would help.

Love this place, I grew up in Zachary and use to go to LeBlancs when it was a real drivein little joint that was located in the Sunflower supermarket lot, it was Tastee Freezee when it first opened up but Louis LeBlanc bought it and made it a town staple. I will always be true to LeBlancs. Hands down they have the best ham Po-boy anywhere!!'

EHH...it's just ok these days.... I grew up in Zachary and I always remember the burgers and shrimp being good. I have to agree the staff is very rude though..from the older employees down to the recently graduated teens that are usually employed "up front". Anyone from Zachary knows exactly what i mean by the "upfront" employees! nothing has changed here since the 70's, mindset wise, i truly believe! so sad...

If you're in the mood for a good hamburger they have a fantastic hamburger. Everything else is kind of mediocre.

Review. Great food horrible horrible customer service and always rude. Live and work in zachary plus extremely overpriced. A seafood box is pushing $20 with no drink!

Hamburger Nazi.. Do you remember the Seinfeld episode with the soup nazi? LeBlanc's is the hamburger nazi! I love their hamburgers and the place is really clean, but the staff is always, always, always rude. As long as the food is good and my order is correct, I'll keep going back.

LeBlanc's Fan. I am from Zachary but I now live in Louisville, KY. I make a point to go to LeBlanc's at least once or twice every time I come home. The food is always delicious especially the shrimp meal.

Best burgers in town! Worst service!. A staple in Zachary, LeBlanc's has some of the best burgers. My one (but major) concern is their poor customer service. In my opinion, this is because the staff does not rely on tips. The employees (including the manager) do not hesitate to let you know what a burden it is if you make any requests. Because the food is good, I think a drive-thru should be an option for LeBlanc's.

Good Food!. I have been reading the reviews and it appears that someone has an axe to grind because I have eaten at Leblanc's since 1989 and have never gotten bad food. It is cooked to order and very good. <br/><br/>David C.

Horrible!! Food reminds me of a hospital cafeteria! Better tasting food from microwave TV dinners. I don't recommend this place to anyone! Foods soggy, catfish was raw, and the place is rundown with water stains on the roof. Trip advisor got this one wrong! If you ever eat in Zachary don't eat here! It's a wonder this place is even open still!

It's about what you'd expect. Burgers are pretty good, fries are underwhelming. Shrimp was passable, but cooked correctly. Roast beef poboy was cold and the bun needed toasting. All in all not bad, but a little overpriced for what's offered and the quality you get.

I love to eat here. The food is always awesome. Our family faves are their homemade hamburgers, hamburger steak dinners, and of course, their nachos with peppers. Most of the staff is friendly and polite. If you call in an order, it's usually ready within 10 mins. I would recommend this place.
