Review Tucker's Seafood - Zachary

Placed an order for boiled crawfish and shrimp to bring friends out of state. Packed perfectly. Seasoning was perfect. Dana included sauces. Potatoes, corn and sent some of her special made seasoning for our friends and 1 for us. Our friends were very impressed as were we.

I'm fairly new to Zachary so I was trying to find some crawfish that's closer to home. Stopped here today (2/19/22) to give them a try and I think I'll just drive across town from now on. The employees were kind however I ordered 3lbs of crawfish that looked like only a pound, potatoes that I ordered were not in the bag (unfortunately didn't notice til I got home, honestly didn't think I needed to check for something so simple), and the turkey neck tasted like straight water (it was also so tough I couldn't finish it). The flavor of the crawfish along with the friendliness of the employees is why I gave my experience 2 stars. It could have just been an off day but I definitely didn't feel like I got my money's worth.

I went to buy crab fingers and the staff was very helpful. Picked up some boudin balls and crawfish boudin link, they both were delicious.

A MUST STOP!!! My lady and I experienced the “WOW” factor the other day when we only intended to make a quick visual stop of this “hidden gem”! Only intending to check out some prices on seafood, having no idea this place also cooked seafood plates, we ordered. We ordered a seafood platter each. To our surprise, this platter was so awesome, neither of us were able to finish eating everything that was on it... Fried catfish, large fried shrimp, stuffed shrimp, stuffed crab, oysters, hush puppies, onion rings, fries, toasted bread and a salad on the side. W O W!!!! All fresh and DELICIOUS!!!! It’s a small place but you can order to take home. This place is a MUST STOP! I really can’t believe that I have never been to this place before now. If anything, just stop and walk in...smell the freshness of the cooking... you’ll be a permanent customer from that point. I am!

My Kids and IWanted Some Crawfish Corn Potatoes and Shrimp So I Thought of Tuckers since it was convientent for us When we went there they must have the worst cook ever Boiling those crawfish because they weren't seasoned to perfection the potatoes were hard on the inside and The Shrimp were Jumbo but barely had Shrimp/Boil Season on them as well I Am Really Outdone With these people because they HIGH And they charge ppl for the unseasoned Seafood ..A Very Dissatisfied Customer and I will travel farther for Better
