Review Lagniappe - Zachary

Very good food, friendly & helpful staff. A lady at our hotel recommended this restaurant - glad we came! We had seafood salad, fried catfish, corn & shrimp chowder, smothered chicken breast, and the seafood au gratin.

I’ve lived in Louisiana majority of my life but never been to Lagniappe. We went to this restaurant for a private birthday party and were giving a great seating location. I’ve had some great seafood over the years, but I can’t stop raving about Lagniappes! I’ve never been in a restaurant where every single appetizer, entree or dessert was made to perfection. I had the FIRECRACKER OYSTERS were amazing! I almost asked for more! The alligator balls were fresh and so tender! The CRAB fingers are a must have. My entree was the catfish stuffed with crawfish, shrimp and crab and a special sauce. 10 out of 10 must try again. The fried cheesecake was perfect. I’d highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some good seafood and dining. If you don’t believe me try it out for yourself and let me know

Delicious food and drinks, I had a bahama mama, the seafood stuffed grilled fish, with a side salad, stuffed potato and garlic bread. The food came out fast and the servers are very courteous. I will definitely return. Just be sure to bring a sweater or jacket it is very cold inside.

Great food, so so wait staff. Cudo to the kitchen staff and cooks. The food was awesome. Our young waitress must have been on her first day. She wasn't too concerned about our dining experience. My corporate boss ordered a side of gravy and we asked for drinks to go before we left. The gravy was brought to the table after we were finished with our meals . The go cups were just that. Handed off as we were walking out the door.. lol.

Crawfish stuffed potato and shrimp pasta. Both seasoned to perfection, hot, and served quickly. The service was excellent. The waitress immediately notice an error in the selection, but we chose to keep it. I was pleasantly surprised of the restaurant atmosphere and will return. Quite Lovely.

This place lived up to everything they told me to expect. I loved the shrimp and the crab fingers. Louisiana is known for its food and special creole dishes. The food is excellent and I recommend you try the fried crab fingers. Portions are more than enough, you could even share with someone they give you so much. Service is good amd wait staff is friendly. I will be back the next time I'm in the area.

We ordered 4 rib eyes 3 medium and 1 medium rare. None of them were cooked consistently. Medium rare was like pittsburg or rarer. Mine was supposed to be medium but 2/3 of it was well done overcooked like leather. The other third was pretty good. Maybe learn to cook a steak evenly and consistently before you offer it on your menu. What a joke.

The Lagniappe in Baker was my favorite restraunt, I could always get a great steK at an affordable price. I was so excited about one coming to Zachary however it has been a huge letdown. Prices raised over $5 a plate from previous price for my favorite selection. The food is still good, the atmosphere is great but the great cost factor is now gone. One my visit tonight I was let down again. Two weeks ago I received by mail a list of nightly specials. Tuesday is half price charbroiled oysters. So tonight I come ready for a treat only to be told the manager cancelled those nightly specials. We cancelled our plans to eat there, it's a shame they have sold out their old patrons.

Service beyond bad, waitress's everywhere and no one can even take a drink order, bring back Ryan's! Manager hung up on me when I called and complained.wow!

Service was poor, food was not very good. I ordered the seafood au gratin, but they forgot the seafood... server pretended to not notice my full plate when I told her it wasn't good and again when I asked for the check and didn't eat.... go get a pack of bologna. It would be better.

The décor is very beautiful. My retirement club ate there and everyone seems to have enjoyed the food. Service was good. My only problem was I don't care for salt and my food was heavy on the salt.

We just left not to long ago and the service was great! The food was fresh and hot our waitress was very nice and sweet! We will most definitely be back! Keep up the great service! Our waitress name was Bre!

We sat at the bar near the oyster station and had great service. The bartender was friendly and tentative. It took a while to get our food and I didn't like that I got my oysters before my friends got their food, but I understand why it happened that way. Our bartender poured accurate drinks, but I did notice that the other girl didn't pour enough (and this isn't me just being cheap... I have experience). The atmosphere is beautiful, the oysters were great! I'd go back.

Awesome service for a party of 30 with one waiter(who was amazing)! Jackson is a great bartender! I'll be back!

The food was great and the service was fantastic... if you go eat ask for Bre to be your waitress she was absolutely amazing

Beautiful inside!! Art Deco meets Southern charm. Food was delicious and staff very attentive. Hubby and I will certainly be back for another date night!!

The food was wonderful. We had a great waiter who was on top of his game on making sure my friend and I had a great experience. It is BEAUTIFUL inside. Will be returning!

We have done take-out twice and very happy with the meals. The take-out waiter needs a smile and offer a thank you for tips. Yes, the restaurant is nice and we are pleased to have this restaurant in our area. Pleasant hospitality is a must to succeed.

The service tonight was wonderful. Brandon was very attentive and patient with our large group. Food was very fresh and flavorful. Could not have asked for a better evening. Thank you.

I would give a stellar review if not for the service. You should not have to ask the hostess to send you a waitress and you shouldn't have to beckon a waitress from across the restaurant for something as simple as a straw she neglected to leave on the table. It's 2 pm on a Tuesday and by NO MEANS packed. New and shiny does not always mean better!!!
