Sammie was slappin with flavor.
It also had an internal volcano that kept it sizzlin the whole time I ate it.
Highly recommend the Southwest steak and Pastrami Melt.
Jumbo is totally worth the upcharge.
Food was delicious. I had the Reuben. The family had smoked turkey and ham sandwiches. Ingredients were fresh. Atmosphere was way cool. Our son's Dr. Is right down the street. This will now be our lunch spot when we go to appointments.
My favorite sandwich shop in Albuquerque! Lots of variety and quality ingredients. Their Green Chile Philly always his the spot.
Wow. I missed this place somehow but won't again. When you enter the deli, which is one of the top, if not the top delis in Albuquerque, you will be overwhelmed by the number of sandwich options and sides available. They can be served hot or cold, and the sides are delightful. They serve breakfast as well. The decor is old posters, concert posters, and abulm covers from decades of music. There are plenty of options on drinks. The cookies are delicious.
Decided to try this after seeing it on the map being near where I had to pick something up from someone. What a little treasure! Quality ingredients, a huge selection, reasonable prices and very fast. I had the #7 and the #20 and both were wonderful. Such good meat, plenty of condiments, and the bread is utterly delicious. We'll be back in a couple days to get more for a picnic. Cute Rock-style decor and they deliver. highly recommended!
EDIT: Went back a few days later and got breakfast burritos (9-11am only). Delicious! Lots of bacon and cheese, green chili wasn't too hot, and a good size for the low price. Wrapped in foil, they stayed really hot! They were the perfect start to our road trip that day.
