Sometimes we can bypass great service when we visit any type of business and take it for granted. This review is well deserved. Myself and my family dined at Ruth Chris in Crystal City on 14 April 2018 .The occasion was my daughters birthday. They treated this newly 12 year old as the princess as she is. They placed simple confetti on the table, but not over board. The view as always was breath taking with a view of the Potomac with sailboats and the famous Reagan Intl.airport. Being an executive chef i can sometimes be a little attentive to service and quality. I will be the first to say that both are above standards. If you are a steak lover, this is the Prime place for quality. This is not your typical high priced supermarket or butcher streak. My rib eye was superb, but i think its a risk sending out a steak on a 500 f plate and hoping for the right temperature. All together the food was great and specially the service. Our server was Patrick and was ontop of his game. I would recommend asking for him, but at the same time thinking the entire staff has the same quality. My family will definitely be returning.
What a great place, the food was fantastic and the view was amazing. The staff especially our waiter Teddy made us feel at home. We would recommend this steakhouse to anyone staying in Arlington.
Gave up cooking at the holidays some years ago. Was disappointed at the food at a number of very nice restaurants at the holidays, so decided to make another change and try Ruth's Chris because we all like steak. The food was delicious, every item. All of it was delivered the way we wanted it, and piping hot, no lukewarm dishes. All four of us had individual or shared appetizers (love the bbq shimp! Fantastic). All ordered steak, and five different sides to share. Our waiter Josh was very pleasant and accomodating as we all asked for bearnaise on the side. We decided to have a very early Christmas dinner and had asked for a window view if possible, which worked out well. Unanimously voted for going to Ruth's Chris when we dine out at the holidays again as a group, it was hands down our best experience in years. We were not missing turkey, loved our steaks!
