I’ve been here multiple times since they’ve opened, and never left a review until now, so shame on me! This is one of my favorite places in Ashland to frequent, whether it be for a quick bite to eat, or an evening well spent. It’s been great getting to know the staff here and also making friends with fellow patrons. The food is spot on, and you can’t go wrong with the bates burger and some fries. They’re always friendly and accommodating, no matter how busy they are. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing, and I like the fact that they don’t have TVs/the sports bar style, because it’s been the cause of some great dialogue between others and myself. While I’m not a huge beer drinker, the vanilla porter is spot on, and I love that they regularly have cider options along with wine options. Food portions are fairly priced and decently sized, and while the menu isn’t large, I have my favorites that I always order. It’s a great spot, whether you want to just have a couple drinks, or spend your evening listening to live music and socializing!

I stopped by last Friday night after hearing some live music at Downtown Perk. I was friends with the family who owned this as Gilbert's Furniture store and was curious to check it out. We got there about 8:30 and the place was jammed; even the bar! My friend and I hung out to wait on a place to sit at the bar. I loved there were all ages of people eating and drinking and the place looks fabulous! Everyone was very nice and we finally took our barstools. I am not really a beer drinker but I did have a small glass of beer and it was fabulous. I am so thrilled have a place to dine,Downtown! And one that is not a chain. Give it time people. Don't be too impatient. They are growing and it will take time for perfection. I can't wait to go for dinner. Congrats to all involved in helping make Ashland Someplace special.

I've been there quite a few times, and have always had great, friendly service. The food is really good, and on my last visit was pleasantly surprised by the new expanded menu. My favorite beer is the Uniontown IPA. Ashland so needed this place!
