Grindhouse Killer Burgers Athens

This place is OUTSTANDING! My husband and I slipped out of the game a little early to grab some food before we got on the road to head home. First, let me say that we are not professional food critics, however, we are self described amateur foodies. Our travels usually involve detours for the particular purpose of visiting that one unusual local restaurant. From the moment we walked in our visit was obviously going to be good. It is self service seating, but we were immediately greeted when we walked through the door upstairs in the open air type restaurant. The energy was still in full Buzz with the game and they had a good crowd, but our waiter was quick to bring us menus and take our drink order. The place was very clean for just surviving a Georgia game crowd, and their servers all greeted with us warm smiles and helpful attitudes. Our food came in no time at all......and it was beyond belief. I love a good burger, but these were AMAZING!!! My husband had the Dixie and I had the Yankee. The fries and onion rings were equally delicious! The only thing I can add is that we will be coming back....and soon. I normally can't eat a whole burger, but I ate mine, part of my husband's and was wishing I had brought one for the two hour drive home. Great place, great atmosphere, great service and great food! Highly recommended!!!

Food was good, service was great and the company made it special-veggie burger was amazing! Highly recommend!
