Easily the best beer place in Atlanta, by a landslide. In second place is likely their very own Krog Street location. Also a great place to get all the brewing equipment you could ever want.

Hop City is the best beer store in Atlanta. Period. When it comes to beer, no other store in the city matches their selection and service. I've been a patron of Hop City since they opened five years ago. At that time, there were--and still are--a number of comprehensive liquor stores that offered a strong selection of beer. But Hop City's singular dedication to craft beer, coupled with the expertise of their staff immediately placed them at the top. In fact, it would not be an understatement to suggest that Hop City paved the way for every craft beer store and growler shop that has opened since. I could ramble on about that amazing bottle of Founder's CBS I was fortunate to get there a few years ago, or the Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest I purchased there last week. But all you need to do is walk in and discover for yourself. Whether its newest, most limited craft beer release, or a widely available, yet venerable Belgian ale you're after, Hop City is the place. Instead, I'd rather focus on the amazing customer service from Kraig, Paul, Mina, Abby, Brandon, Brad, Chris, and the rest of the team. They're not just employees--they're friends who truly appreciate beer and are enthusiastic about sharing that love with the Atlanta community. They always put their customers first and foremost, and they keep things fair and fun in the process. Hop City will always have my business, and I hope they'll have yours too.

Awesome place with amazing hearts! I went to Hop City last night for a charity event where they donated 100% of their profits! Any company willing to do that has my business for life and should have yours too!
