Crab's Claw Oceanfront Caribbean Seafood Restaurant Atlantic Beach

This was my first time visiting Crab' Claw. It was great. We'll definitely be back. We sat outside the chairs are very big (I felt like a kid in them) and the seat to table height is a little off. Though they are comfortable, I felt like I needed a booster seat to really access the table. We ordered the 🦀 dip, with pita points. The dip was very good and the pita points we fresh and chewy. Perfectly toasted. For our entrée we got the Fish and Chips. Very tasty. Perfect, golden and Flaky. Everything this dish should be. Wonderful service. UPDATE: Had company in Town and popped in for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. The hostess made a big deal that we didn't have a reservation. Since, it's summertime, that may be something that you might want to figure into your plans. Luckily for us, there were several open tables on the patio. They were having a lunch special on Mahi, as a sandwich or on a salad. We all opted for the special. I had it as a sandwich. It was great, but the salad looked better. Service was friendly and attentive. 2nd UPDATE: To be blunt, each consecutive time I've been here, it hasn't lived up to our first experience. The food is okay but doesn't really live up to the $80 lunch tab. The last time I was there, the entire restaurant was filled with smoke, and it seemed as if the entryway is where they store supplies. All in all, it seems like they are worn out, and their attention to detail is slowly slipping.
