This Italian restaurant inside the Golden Nugget was just able to open recently on a limited menu but the choices are well chosen. We had linguini with clam sauce and the pappardelle bolgnese. We started with the antipasto. Everything was delicious. Abby our server was very friendly and attentive. The host was a very kind gentleman who was very knowledgeable when we asked him questions. Many people were looking for their pizza but because the pizza oven is behind the bar they aren't able to open it as of yet. This was a great choice for dinner.

If you ever go to Golden Nugget in Atlantic City check out Italian Restaurant -Grotto. I had delicious meatballs in a delicious sauce with a salad and my Godmother had a nice piece of fish with home made vegetables. Reasonably priced. They do have lasagna, chicken or veal parmigiana etc.

This was actually our second visit to the Grotto. First time with pasta. This time we tried the tomato soup and pizza (margherita and roasted herb chicken). Service and food were fantastic. They had half price bottles of wine, so we also had a bottle of Prosecco. We'll definitely be back! I'm already craving another margherita pie!
