Habachi Sushi Augusta

The best way to experience this restaurant (the "trick" to getting a good fresh meal) is to ALWAYS GET THE HIBACHI. If you come to this restaurant for the buffet only and don't get the hibachi? You messed up. If you come here and complain about how the buffet items aren't fresh or good, and didnt get in line for the hibachi? You messed up. If didn't pick out your own ingredients and watched the chef make the food for you (tipping is optional but appreciated) then you messed up. I promise you, if you have a bad hibachi experience here it's completely your fault. I have never had a bad meal here and it's because I always make sure to get the hibachi. It's by far the best part of the restaurant and you will guaranteed have freshly prepared food because they make it right in front of you. The rest of the buffet is standard fare. My wife likes their sushi, but it can be hit or miss. The dessert options are varied (usually involving some kind of jello, fruit, cookie, cake or ice cream), but they're not super sweet or flavorful. The fried foods on the menu are also subject to a taste test, sometimes they're great but sometimes they can be soggy. But the HIBACHI? You can never go wrong with that. Feel free to add as much toppings as you want. I highly recommend you ask for all 4 sauces when getting it prepared especially with the steak (teriyaki, soy, chili oil and garlic).
