Friends and I stayed in Austin for 5 days, and we ate at Magnolia Café 3 times: once for lunch, once for Sunday brunch, and once for late night dessert. Each time the atmosphere was welcoming, the service was great and the food delicious. On our second visit I lost an earring that was one of my favorites, although not of much monetary value. I returned to the restaurant and spoke to one of the managers, Amanda, who made every effort to locate the earring and return it to me. Through a comedy of errors, the earring was found and lost and found again. I was back in Maryland by the time it was finally secured, but understanding my attachment, the earring was mailed back to me. Also enclosed was a gift certificate for Magnolia that never expires. Not only do I recommend Magnolia Café for the food and service, but also for the kindness and understanding of the value of a small earring to one of their customers, and their generosity in going beyond expectations to see that it was returned. Thank you, Amanda, and Magnolia Café
This was my second time eating here with my family and as usual the service was spectacular and the food was amazing!!!!! Hands down on of, if not the best, place to eat in this great city.
This place never disappoints. Great food and always great service. This is a must stop for us whenever we’re in Austin.
Delicious food and excellent service!
Highly recommend the #7 and add bacon.
Every time my wife & I come to Austin we eat here! It’s so good, and the staff is so friendly. We absolutely love it! The queso omelette is the best!
This was our first time here & we absolutely loved every part of it. We were on a wait list of 37 ahead of us, but had plenty of things to explore around it to pass the time!! Our server, John Mark, made the experience a true joy! He was extremely funny, helpful, & amazing at his job! Food was delicious 😋
I ordered a single buttermilk pancake, breakfast burrito and a mimosa. My friend ordered the huevos rancheros. The food was amazing and the salsa is really great. It is zingy and flavourful.
I would totally eat here again. I came here as I saw it on the triple D listing. It was absolutely delicious. The service was great too.
Comfort food to the fullest! The plates are HUGE and the service was great as well. We had lots of food to take home and still left with our bellies full. Be sure to try the queso with beef. Absolutely delicious
One of the icons for ATX at the Congress avenue.
So sad they closed the other location at the Lake Austin Boulevard.
Staff is impeccable always!
Food never disappoints, consistent always!
Not the food or location makes Magnolia great but the people!
This place was packed when we got there so we put our name on the list and walked across the street and have a cup of coffee until they were ready for us. There were 31 parties in front of us and we waited for about 40 minutes. Well worth the wait.
John Marc was our waiter and did an excellent job. He made sure our drinks for fall and checked on us plenty.
We started our brunch with the artichoke dip and queso with beans. The artichoke dip was super creamy and had lots of flavor the quesi was also good.
We all had something different from the menu. The breakfast tacos were definitely what I was looking for to feel my belly.
My wife and our friends will definitely be back!
