Wait staff was excellent as was the pork loin and bruschetta that we had. We weren't drinking but wine list looked great too!! All in all pretty cool place !

Enjoyed sitting at the bar. The server was friendly and efficient. I enjoyed looking at the racks of wine and tasting red flight #9 that included a tasty Spanish wine and two Italian options. For dining I had a fresh dinner-size salad with candied pecans and blue cheese (The Reed). I also had the Vodka Shrimp pasta. This entree was unique because it was loaded with jalapeños and had quite a kick. There were many menu options that looked tasty. I thought the outdoor dining area looked festive with the white lights
I randomly went to this place after a bike race up at Pace bend because I was I dire need of some pasta. This was an excellent find and probably one of the best Bolognese plates I've had bar none. Atmosphere seems pretty cool also.
We had dinner here for the first time. We highly recommend this place. Great service and food quality. We had the special Salmon dish. Very good! Note: we are not fish lovers.
We will be back next visit to Austin.

First time, service was definitely not great. It took our server almost 10 minutes to come to our table which I could understand if it was busy but it wasn't, and she saw us. She definitely judged us on our appearance. I thought it was just me until my bf spoke up, but we decided to make the best of it and we both ordered the 8oz filet which was fantastic, we both cleaned our plates and enjoyed our wine and tipped well even though we weren't made to feel welcome. This place seems like kind of exclusive, I'm guessing bc of the area. We definitely stuck out in very casual clothing and I have tattoos. But the food was great, and they had quite a few menu items I would like to try so maybe we will give it a second try.
Such a great spot for a casual dining experience without having to compromise on atmosphere. The patio at night is lit up beautifully via the oak trees that run through it and the food has been tasty each visit. Ranging from the Pizza, Pasta, Bruschetta, and desserts, you can’t really go wrong. This is of course a wine bar so they have an extensive menus of wines to choose from and for anyone looking to have a cheap bottle of wine and just hangout, this is definitely accomplishable here. Would highly recommend giving this spot a try!
This place is a hidden gem. Lots of delicious choices. The salt n pepper shrimp n flan were our favorites. Kids loved the tenders and chips.
My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful experience at The Grove! We chose this restaurant on a spur of the moment search for a place to eat late at night on our road trip in Austin and couldn’t have had a more pleasant time. Delicious food, wonderful service, and a cool atmosphere with lots of greenery and patio lights. Definitely recommend!
Loved the patio vibe. Beautiful oak trees and lots of umbrellas for great shade in this Texas heat. Enjoyed the tomatoes, mozzarella, pesto bruschetta and the bacon avocado bruschetta and can't wait to go back and try other types.
Two delicious dinners here over a weekend. Our server was lovely. Flights of wine were so great. Food. Wow. Fried Oysters - divine. And yes get the bruschetta. Setting is romantic outside under the big live oak. Would definitely return!
