Omega Coffee Shop

Hidden little gem. I stumbled upon this place by Google search as I was craving an egg sandwich. It was lunchtime and I had a busy work day so I phoned in an order for pick up to take back to the shop. While not on the menu, I asked if I could have 3 fried eggs, bacon and cheese on a hero and they happily obliged. I arrived 10 minutes later to find a cozy little eatery which had the traditional feel of a "real" NY style coffee shop. The area is busy but I nabbed a parking spot right out front. I was greeted pleasantly. I informed them I was picking up to which they kindly requested that I wait one minute. I received hellos from other staff and another man whom appeared he might own the place. Both booths and tables were available in the one side of the coffee shop and an archway led to a larger dining room to accommodate those busier days. They also had the traditional eat at counter with a handful of bar stools to authenticate the look. Again, this is a real coffee shop. After a minute of scoping around, my food was brought out, already packed into a carry out bag. I paid the small amount by credit card (without hassle of minimum, by the way), included a tip and was on my way back to work. When I opened the bag, I found an aluminum platter container a see-thru plastic lid. My hero was was cut in half and I was worried because my hero appeared to be toasted, which I did not request. I was pleasantly surprised by the very first bite because this hero was amazingly flavorful and delicious. My hero wasn't toasted, it was possibly pressed and it was not only easier to handle, the bread was lightly crisp on the outside and ever so perfectly soft on the inside. Contents of hero were cooked to perfection. I ate the whole thing (usually save half) as it was absolutely delicious! Best egg sandwich, um hero, I'd had since a kid. I went back for take out a few more times that week ordering the same thing, and praising their cook. It was that good. Looking forward to taking my family to dine in and indulge in a burger or one of their many breakfast platter offerings. Come to find out they deliver to. Fantastic! I highly recommend Omega Coffee Shop. It's a very welcoming spot with great food and great service. I only wish I'd found it sooner.

Love my local Queens diner! Delicious food, nice portions, groovy staff, clean and best of all... my Dad's favorite place - it makes him SO happy when we go there! The one downside, which cannot be helped, is the evil metered parking. Other than that, this IS my Queens jam! 🍔 🍳 🍰 🍗 🍌 🍲 🌭 🍷

Wonderful service for a group of 9 for a graduation. The food was really good. I was blown away by the amount of bacon and potatoes they gave on our plates. Still the number one spot for breakfast in the neighborhood

This is a very friendly neighborhood diner. They have an extensive menu and the service is prompt and courteous. The portions are generous and the pricing is very reasonable. The premises are immaculate. I can't think of single negative aspect of the place.

I've been coming here for breakfast. For quite a long time, food is always good, and they always offer breakfast specials. Prices are very reasonable, staff is very nice and professional and most important to me bathrooms are clean.
