J Wilson's Beaumont

This is our go-to date night spot. The staff is professional and always goes above and beyond to deliver impeccable service. I love that the menu is always changing, everything is made fresh, and they take special requests. We’ve never had a dish we didn’t like! The bartenders are really more like mixologists... Stephen and Justin can always work their magic with the cocktails or recommend the perfect beer pairing for your meal! Ladies, if you get cold easily, bring a sweater! It does stay on the chilly side.

First time visit. We walk in and right away notice the relaxed,casual atmosphere and are greeted and seated as soon as we walk in. After we sat down,Britain,our server immediately greets us and takes our appetizer order. We ordered the fried pickles and they came out sliced thin,but were hot and crispy and served with a great jalapeño ranch sauce that wasn't too hot,but had just the right amount of kick to it. For our meal,I ordered the J Dub Double Burger and my Wife had the Burger Salad,which we were both curious to see. The food comes out in a timely fashion and looked great. My Burger was big enough that I had to cut it with the knife they provided and when I bit into it,I,wasn't prepared for a burger that was as perfectly seasoned as this one was. I know other places season their burgers and it's rare to find one that's seasoned this good. We're all used to French fries with our burgers,but the burgers here come with potato wedges..not the big ones,but in my opinion the ones at J. Wilson's are just the right size and are served with the Jalapeño Ranch sauce and ketchup. My Wife's burger salad was a sight to behold as well...it looked so good,I wished that I had gotten one. It had the above mentioned perfectly seasoned ground beef,pickles,lettuce and cheese and dressing and also the potato wedges around the side...I tried it and it was great. Points to whoever thought this salad up:) All in all,our first visit will not be our last...and if you've never tried J. Wilson's,make sure you pay them a visit!
