Ignore the poor reviews on waiting. People don't understand that if it is not a fast food joint, they actually have to wait to be seated, and wait for their food. Went yesterday with my signifiant other. It took five minutes to get seated, as it was past-noon rush. Food took 35 minutes to arrive, which is fine. He had chicken and dumplings, I had cup chicken noodle with the new prime rib sandwich (which was amazing, let me tell you.) Fried apples were amazing as always. The food was just the right portion to leave both of us not hungry, and not insanely full. The biscuits were delicious, and the cornbread was slightly dry; but still good enough. Waitress was training under another waitress since she was new. Both of them were excellent. It was a good day. It's been a long time since I was there last, but I'm glad I went. It was worth it.
