Food is always amazing, wait staff and bartenders are always friendly and efficient. Prices on the menu are very reasonable for the portions and quality of the food. Love this place, go every chance I get!

Better than ever. Food at the White Bear has always been pretty good, but now it's even better after new ownership and some much-needed updates to the place (new bar and a deck on the back). Stopped in for a bite after a quick trip to the area, and our party of four was extremely pleased with the offerings on the new menu. Everything was awesome, especially the onion rings--big, thick, battered rings sprinkled with Parmesan--and what I think were called diablo fries--curly potato wedges topped with wing sauce, bacon, cheese, jalapenos and other goodies. And of course the fish sandwich was delicious and contained more fish than fits on a bun, just like it has always has ever since I can remember from my childhood. Chatting with a friend there, he highly recommends the steaks, cheese sticks, which he says are huge, side salad, and well, pretty much everything on the menu. The only thing he wasn't impressed with was their baked potatoes, but when they serve the best onion rings I've found in quite some time (I am an onion ring freak), why would I order a potato? Next time I'm in the area, I'll be trying the cheese sticks. And more onion rings.

Under New Ownership. This establishments under new ownership. Raymond Johnson and Family have remodeled and changed the menu. They've eaten there at least 5 times in the past month. Quality is consistent, service is great. This is a small town roadhouse with big city quality.
Try the Fried Portabella Mushroom Wedges. Wings are great. The Italian sausage sandwich is frill of flavor. The burgers are 5 star quality.
Come early on Taco Tuesdays, and Wing Wednesdays. This place is not out of the way, but the final destination of Flavor Town.
