Tremendous flavor. The staff is incredibly friendly and personal, explaining anything you want to know about the food. Interesting flavors, fresh food. I would recommend to everyone this place. The flavors are extraordinary. You won't be disappointed.

The service is wonderful, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is comfortable. On my visit I indulged in a rice bowl with chicken, red cabbage slaw, hummus, feta cheese, and eggplant dip. The portion was quite generous for 8 dollars and I can honestly say this is going to quickly become a favorite place for me to dine. It is easily some of the best Mediterranean food I've ever had. The chef/owner even took time out to talk to us about the restaurant, her background, and what we thought of everything. I can't wait to go back! This is definitely worth checking out!

Spectacular Middle Eastern food! I highly recommend you visit the new Dates & Olives on Chestnut Hill Ave in Brighton. It is difficult to choose one’s meal, as everything on the menu is fantastic! From the pita pockets of chicken marinated in Moroccan spices, to the salad and rice bowls of beef accentuated with authentic Turkish flavors. Hand-crafted signature toppings such as yogurt mint sauce, tahini, and millet tabbouleh provide a healthy and fresh Mediterranean accent to your meal. When you visit Dates & Olives, you MUST order the hummus. It is hands down the best I have had!! Boston is indeed very fortunate to be the home of this new eatery founded by the talented Chef Renita Mendonca.
