Heading off the island, we were looking for someplace to eat. After several failed attempts, we spotted "Wings N Things" restaurant and decided to go for it. Walking in, we assumed it would be your average diner. On the contrary: the food was absolutely ridiculously delicious! Thee best potato skins I've ever eaten. Wings to die for. My sister's salad was beautiful and didn't have a single leaf of iceberg lettuce in it. My daughters' grilled cheese and burgers were outstanding. The owner makes fresh, hand-spiraled fries to die for! We had him come out to the table to tell us his secret for the potato skins because we knew there had to be one -- they were THAT good. And I almost forgot to say: our waiter, Scott, was delightful and the service was attentive and excellent. Scott graciously catered to some of our finicky requests, and was happy to do so. We're going back. Check them out if you get the chance, going on or off AMI! They rock! (PS: We're from Chicago, so it's not like we don't know what a good restaurant experience is: this place is a gem.)

This place has been a favorite of ours for over 30 years. It’s had its ups and downs in the past, however with the newer owners it has soared back to the top. This place is clean, the wait staff and owners are knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. The wings are the best in town by far. Don’t waste your time or money at other places if you are craving wings. The fried cheese balls with cherry type dipping sauce is also one of our favorites. The menu includes lots of options. Try this place. You won’t be sorry.
