I move to Florida in 1998, But when I visit Bridgeport, Connecticut were I waz born and raised since 1967. I always stop at Famous pizza to bring me back memories from my childhood. And I miss Famous pizza...Love that place....
Raised in Bridgeport. When I visit I go for my favorite sausage grinder. The best pizza and grinders.
I grew up in Bridgeport and hadn't been back here in years. They were a staple for me... so I took my boyfriend here to try them. They tasted just like I remembered! He was even pleasantly surprised and wants to go back one day to get more! It makes me so happy! I can't wait to one day go back again. Keep up the great job you guys!
To be honest been going there since I was like 16 I'm 60 they have the same name the pizzas made the same way and they are the best you have to try it when you're in Bridgeport I can't wait to go back it was such a long time I got up cheese pizza and a pepperoni for the ride back home to Massachusetts love Famous Pizza congratulations for making the best pizza in Bridgeport
Nice little place near the university and seaside park / beach Pizza comes in one standard size nice crispy crust pizza melts in your mouth. One of the gems in the city for sure highly
I truly stumbled on the place before a Bridgeport Islanders game. I wanted a quick bite before hockey (and to avoid the high-priced arena food). I am used to New Haven-style pizza. This is not it, but it's really good food. Between the 4 of us (2 adults, 2 children), we got 2 pies (there is only 1 size). We were pleasantly surprised. When you see pizza being cooked in a pan on a conveyor belt, you don't have high expectations, but I would definitely come back. We sat at the counter and had a front-row seat for all the action. Clams casino pie was great.
Great authentic place to get the original personal pizza 🍕the service is above and beyond 💯💪🏽💪🏽 the buffalo 🦬 wings are second to none 🥇 even let my Frenchie done outside with me ❤️💯
A neighborhood pizza joint that has been around for over 40 years. Greek pizza at it's best. Unfortunately, it's only about 10" and comes in one size. There are many other items on the menu as well. A no frills joint, don't expect fine dining.
Good pizza and the hospitality was excellent I will definitely be back when I go to visit my son at UB again
