I found this place about 20 years ago when it was still a haven for the Portuguese fishermen who used the marina, bringing in their catches and storing their lobster pots. A nice bistro with Portuguese touches to the menu and some great vinho verde. Food and service always good and priceworthy.
Outside deck overlooking the marina is large with covered areas and perfect in the right weather with views across to Long Island and the ferry passing in and out nearby. I always take groups of friends here for special occasions and all my visitors have to enjoy the experience.

Stopped by after a long day at the softball fields. The outside was a little...bland but once inside it was cozy, clean and organized. We were greeted promptly. Our server, Robert, was excellent. He was friendly, funny, and definitely invested in making sure we had a great experience. We enjoyed a few items from the raw bar for apps and they were fresh, delicious and very nicely presented. Our entrees were exactly as described in the menu and were elegant in their simplicity. If im eating seafood on the ocean I don't want it caked in herbs or drowning in butter. Seafood that fresh deserves to shine and that is something this kitchen does extraordinarily well.
Easily my favorite local restaurant in all of Bridgeport. No contest. The food and service are great no doubt. But what truly makes Dolphin's Cove so great is the view of the Long Island sound and the Bridgeport-Port Jefferson ferry boat as it passes by. I will make up any excuse just to come see that scenery anyday. There's a reason why I have been coming to this place since I moved to Bridgeport all the way back in 2009.
Excellent food, very generous portions, extremely polight and friendly staff, I can't wait to go back!!! The outdoor dining is definitely nice too. The waves crashing.... Just all in all a good time ❤️❤️
Been here many times, and usually had the lobster. And always tried different kind of way of cooking each time. But one thing in common, the portions were so big! However, they were so good, so I guess I wouldn’t mind having too much, if I couldn’t finish it, just ask for a doggy bag. The staffs were so nice.u

I'm very happy that I found this restaurant by accident red snapper was delicious I was surprised it was a big fish felt like I was back in the Caribbean the outdoor seating was beautiful
