I stayed at a charming one bedroom cabin at Virginia Creek Settlement late last fall, and really loved it. The cabin is right by the creek with a fire ring, BBQ grill, picnic table, and chairs. We thought about eating by the creek, but it was cold, and we were tired. We cooked dinner at the kitchenette, which has everything that we needed. The kitchen window looks out to the creek and it was a lovely view. I took my lantern and just walked around the whole campground and took photos. It was so quiet, so quaint, and so relaxing. It was a really cold night. As I recall, the temperate was in the 20°s. The friendly lady who checked us in advised us to turn on the heat as soon as we get in, and we had the heater up all night. It kept us very warm. We ate breakfast at the restaurant the next morning. The food was really good, and the portion was big. An 80-year-old gentleman was helping serving water, and talking to all of the guests. He told us that he was the father of the owner. His son, Jimmy, bought the campground and had been doing a lot of upgrades. He turned it from a 3-season campground to a 4-season one. The place was really clean, and well-maintained. You can see that the owner put in a lot of work in up-keeping it. It’s great for groups with people who wants different kinds of accommodations—cabins with private kitchen and bath, motel rooms, tent cabins with shared baths, communal bbq and picnic area. This review is long over-due. I enjoyed this place so much that I have already booked a reservation for my upcoming Eastern Sierra trip.
For a place I randomly found from a Google search, I was very impressed! The lowest price (which Google displays) is for a covered wagon. Yes, you read that right, a covered wagon! I had no idea what we were getting into, but it was really cozy. It was September, so it got pretty cold at night and so I'm really glad my husband was there to snuggle with. As you sleep, you can hear the sound of the creek, which is very soothing.
There's a bath house you can go use that has a private toilet and a separate private shower for both men and women. All in all, it was a nice experience!

Regular hotel rooms , cabins with private restroom or you can also get a cabin without a restroom but more economical. Outside places to sit next to the beautiful creek and gas fire pits.recomended
OMGosh soo cute! My friend and I stayed in a basic cabin with a last minute reservation. It was very comfortable for what it is. Not a lot of insulation but the room has a wall heater. Still dress warm for the night. Restroom was shared. There was a cute restaurant in the front house we didn't try, but would like to when we come back 😁
WHAT A GEM OF A HIDEAWAY! I can’t say it enough !!! After a super stressful week at work I made a last minute reservation for for a Saturday night visit. They were super nice and welcome furry family members as well. My stay there was super peaceful and cabin number 10 where I stayed was right along the creek which gave me the best night sleep ever. I ordered the wonderful crab cakes from the restaurant and they were amazing. After a crazy week it was just the break I needed I will definitely stay here again soon. It seems to be the perfect getaway when you just need some peace quiet and a little rest I recommend this highly.
Loved the room I stayed in. Very beautiful, quiet, neat and clean, especially the bathroom. The bed was so comfortable i slept like a rock. There’s a nice hammock outside but has a hole in it. There’s a creek and a nice hill out back with lots of blue jays chirping in the morning. Gas fire pits, bbq grill and chairs as well. The restaurant that’s on premises has a great manager Augusto I believe is his name. A real gentleman. The burger, chili and lemon ice cream i had for dinner was delicious. The reason I gave it a four star was because the waitress lacked the most important things when I sat down for breakfast in the morning. I ordered coffee and it was warm and I had no spoon or sugar. The food I ordered was very delicious and brought out fast but I had no silverware, salt, pepper and ketchup or hot sauce. So, I had to wait a few minutes till they got me some. They also forgot my toast. Other than that, I recommend eating and staying here.
