I like to take my mom here for great, down-home type food. Everything I've had is great and the staff is always very friendly. I would highly recommend to anyone in the Broken Arrow area that wants delicious food at a great price!
Wonderful Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner at Apple Barrel Cafe on Thanksgiving! Highly recommend! The shaved turkey was outstanding - everything was hot - & served with a smiling waitress! Couldn't have asked for more! We're thinking of making this a Thanksgiving holiday tradition now! Of course, we'll come visit & eat here again before then for sure! :-)
We had a family dinner there with about 20 people there. I loved that they let us use the private dining room so that we could visit. The food was good, the servings were large enough for big appetites and the service was fast and friendly. The prices were reasonable. We visited for about 30 minutes after dinner and left at 8:30. I got the feeling from the owner that we overstayed our welcome. The restaurant closes at 9:00 so I didn't think we stayed too long.
Some members of the family loved it and suggested that we have our regular monthly dinner there. But I'll have to ask about the rules and how long we are allowed to stay.
Me and the wifey went to dinner there last night. Not only they have incredible food! Service was very good. Very nice place to have lunch, dinner, and family time.

So here are your expectations of this place. You may need to add a little salt and pepper to certain items because a lot of cliental is older and needs light salt. Easy fix, just add salt. We had great service from Tracey but I had a disgruntled person with me that was predetermined to not like the food. The food we had was good and I had no complaints about either one. My disgruntled person didn't like anything so to the owners I'm sorry but I did leave Tracey a tip. The food at this place is good and isn't like the old Applebarrel food. The food is homemade for the most part and the owners do care about you when you come in and will do anything they can to make it right. If you haven't tried them lately then please do so and also give The Great Oasis, that's in the same parking lot, a try. Both places have homemade and fresh food. I needed to make sure the owners know that I at least appreciated the food and service. Great people at both locations and I at least will come back.
As far as take out goes... great American food place. Easy to order and the staff was super friendly and helpful. We ordered two full meals and dessert. Yummy.
Upon returning to Dine-In… they just keep getting better… Loved the cup-of-soup and the special, Smothered Chicken. My daughter’s spud (converted in meat) was so much, she had to take half of it home.

Challengers of Oklahoma Cruise to Apple Barrel BA tonight, good food too, & they weren't expecting us lol. Our waiter on 5th day on job, he did well. Choices of meals too. Going back in the future.
Pretty decent location. Food was good, location was decently clean and service was ok.
Nothing particularly special with this location, but nothing negative as well. Just a good standard Cafe that serves good food at a good price.
This place was wonderful! I placed a to-go order 30 min before closing, and I was very impressed with the quality of food and the speed of service. My salad was crisp and fresh, everything was cooked perfectly, and the portions were plentiful. I honestly couldn't find anything wrong with my order. Great job, we will be back
