So when I see reviews of food in the neighborhood claiming "best _____ I've ever had," I assume the reviewer has either a) never been to NYC and is visiting for the first time or b) not ventured too deep in culinary exploration of NYC because hey, a lot of the cafe grub around here is pretty average

The cheese Danish is incredible. Amazing. But it will destroy you yet it's so worth it. The muffins are great, the pumpkin one stands out as the best! Lovely bakery with very friendly people working there.
The most delicious muffins & perfect coffee (even the iced coffee is flavorful and strong) with the most solid, lovely crew staffing the joint. So glad to see another site opened that is just as delicious!!
Everything taste great, I usually get the ham and Swiss pastry or goat cheese and spinach. I don't really like muffins and cake but the muffins here are perfect. Love this place!
Quiet and tucked away. I've lived here for a year and never knew it was there. I visited for the first time today and it was awesome. Good iced mocha. Good iced tea. Kind staff and service. I would recommend!
Delicious coffee and great deals: lrg coffee and muffin $5 small coffee and muffin $4 - they do not charge extra for soy milk and muffins are often hot out of the oven - delicious!
