My kid lives around the corner. I spent more time at the bar --- Brooklyn Safehouse -- than I did at their place, or at my Airbnb. Great vibe. Wish I knew more about the place. Like, is it a safe house because that big thing is a safe? Was it some kind of Repository of great security, back in the day? Mostly though, now that I'm back home in California, I miss --- really miss --- the painting of the baker and the Chimneysweep. Maybe the Mgmt could snap a good picture of that painting and post it on FB or on the website or whatever. oh, hey, I gotta mention that this is a place where fairly reliably you can get Brooklyn Brewing beer. If not, like they run out and it's late, the other beers are great too. Saranac!
