Finally made it to have dinner and drinks at this place. We had 10 people in our group and we loved our experience! Several of us tried the chicken pot pie hand pies and I was not sure what to expect but they were excellent. We got two hand pies and homemade chips. And the selection of whiskey is impressive. Service was great and so was the food. And the whiskey was the icing on the cake--my drink was mixed perfectly! Highly recommend...

I had an excellent thrasher burger with cheese, tomato, onion, bacon and remoulade sauce. $6. For dessert, delicious creme brûlée. Becky is a great server. Shane is a good chef. Wish they were open for lunch and for a weekend brunch. Crab cakes with that remoulade sauce would be awesome.

If you are downtown for work, a night out or visiting, this place is a MUST GO TO! Great selection of both unique food and an amazing selection of local, national and international spirits! Also a nice selection of beer and an interesting, but not abundant, wine list. Stopped in after work last night with some friends and had a great time!! The staff (especially our server Frank) is well informed about both the drinks and the food and had excellent drink recommendations. We decided to go with a few of their $4 plates and had a wonderful selection of cucumber pickles, then moved on to pickled herring on toasted baguette with pickled onion, and finished with a few Limburger and onion sandwiches! We were tempted by the $5 burger but we a little too full from our $4 plates to order it. Not to scare anyone away, they had much more 'normal' fare on the menu as well, including deviled eggs, soups, a Chicken Pot Pie and a Pot Roast, if you are not as much of an adventurous eater as we tend to be. Will definitely be returning to Lucky Day Whisky Bar in the near future!!
