If you're looking for a nice escape over your lunch break then this is the place to go! Walking down main street not able to decide where to eat lunch, tow of us decided on Hearth + Press based on nothing more than the sign. It's European Cafe located in the theater district of the downtown. The interior, the decor, the presentation, the service, the food, the ambiance...it's the total package. Food was delicious. Nice selection off the menu. We ordered a salad and a pizza for the main course. The arugula salad was plentiful topped with goat cheese walnut and apple - so refreshing. The pizza is done in a Stone Hearth oven. If you are a thin crust affectionado, it is really just straight up impressive. Thin crispy crust, perfectly distributed toppings, slather of sauce, perfect amount of fresh basil - delicious. They earned every single star out of five!

The food, coffee, atmosphere, and people are 2nd to none here. The made-to-order pizzas are fast, fresh, and delicious. If you're not sure where to start, I recommend the Margherita, Prosciutto, or Meatball pizzas. However everything on the menu is made fresh and delicious so you can't go wrong. Also if you want a great cup of coffee... give H+P's a try (warning: it may ruin your Starbucks or Timmy's experience). All-in-all H+P is the type of cafe I look for in a larger city (NYC, Toronto, etc...) And it's right here in Buffalo. How cool is that?!
