The side door entrance, adjacent to a residential doorway, is the perfect representation of this easy to miss spot. The man behind the bar greeted every person walking in with a smile. Quick to answer any questions. A smash up of a bar and restaurant, the pub vibe was excellent. We ordered a Fried fish with Cole slaw, fries, and macaroni salad, as well as a double order of the hot southern Buffalo wings. The fish was perfectly crisp and moist, a gentle haddock flavor, complemented perfectly by the bright vinegar offered along side. The cole slaw was large shreds, with a light sweetness and wonderful fresh crunch. The macaroni salad was rich and creamy without being too heavy. The fries were a thin, skin on, real potato flavor affair. A large portion and a delight to the senses. The Buffalo wings were tender, juicy, crispy and soft in all the right ways. You could bite through the skin without pulling it all off in one bite. The "Hot" level of sauce was just right for a real Buffalo fan. It didn't make me break a sweat, but it hit all the right notes of a perfect sauce. The neon orange on your fingers, the bright punch of vinegar, and the buttery sweetness balanced with heat. Served with celery, carrots, and blue cheese dip this will be my go to spot for Buffalo wings. The bartender also mixed up a good Gimlet, an easy drinking cocktail that takes the fried fish experience to an 11. My wife and i like to order fish fry here and there from many places. This fish fry from marino larkin tavern is definitely on our top list the cole slaw was also amazing. The presentation of the food alone shocked me. Great to the very last bite
