Food was very good. Only one server for the entire dining room. Only complaint is that pizza took way too long to come out and was slightly burnt when it did.
I couldn't have been happier with my experience with the World Famous Iron Horse Saloon that I've never heard of before 3 days ago ("world famous", is that like KFC saying "Hey, what do we call this new product that no one even knows about yet...how 'bout the "Famous" Bowl). Being the only place to ever charge me for tap water I could already tell this was quite the upstanding establishment. If you come here not expecting overpriced food, well, heh, egg on your face. As I strolled around it was impossible to deny how reliable their word was, as the stage for the bands playing wasn't finished, the grass for campers wasn't mowed, and the sound guy who understandably took his check payment beforehand, didn't show up. Ever so prepared, the bar had someone who could fill in who was just as skilled, obvious as he interrupted acts during their songs to adjust things, and handled advice patiently as he physically handled anyone who wasn't satisfied with something. If there was any question about whether or not the owner of the place was fit for his job, any worries were eased when after finding out that the check was cancelled for the soundguy (who didn't show up), has the event promptly shut down during the middle of a band's set, immediately regretting it 5 minutes later, as he watched the plethora of would-be paying customers walk out the door through no fault but his own. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. If you're interested in working with a venue that delivers empty promises and unnecessary obstacles, then you want the Galaxy, no, Universe Famous Iron Horse Saloon.
