I had the best meal ever there a couple months ago and I called to see when they would have it in the menu again. Kieth, the kitchen manager, said he would call when they had it again and HE DID. Wonderful customer service!!!!!
First time at the Bistro. Service was great and staff friendly. Ordered the champage chicken with the zucchini n squash ribbon..was fantastic! Chicken was perfect and the sauce was soo good. Also tried the calamari, best I've had around here! Cant wait to come back n try something different. Maybe next time try some dessert too. I will definitely come back!! Thank you for a great evening.

I just moved here and eat almost every meal outside my home. It is just 2 miles from home so convenient location is great but I need more than that. I prefer quality over quantity and this scratches my itch. First night I tried a pumpkin hard cider to pair with my lobster ravioli. Yum. Last night I had a half rack of BBQ ribs. Very good. At this rate I may never have to leave a two mile radius because I see enough variety to dine there every day and night and the quality will keep me coming back.
I will start by saying the remodel they did on this location is beautiful. Extensive lounge/bar area. We started our meal with crab cakes...delicious! I had the lobster ravioli and my husband had the filet both dinners were cooked to perfection and the sauce on the ravioli really made that dish unique. Both meals came with salad, I had their homemade ranch and I must say this by far is the best dressing I have ever had. They have a great selection of wines and a very large bar so they could make any drink you could imagine! We decided to take home dessert. My cheesecake was homemade and it was absolutely amazing! My husband chose their homemade chocolate truffles and I had one and it was hard to stop at just one, lol. The service we received was 1st class, everyone seemed to really care & the night we were there the owner was talking to guests, such a warm friendly atmosphere. We will absolutely dine here again & will tell our friends about this great new restaurant!
We have visited the Bistro of Oakwood several times and never have been disappointed. The appetizers and entrées are tastefully prepared. Tony and his staff are always cheerful and inviting. We can’t wait to go back.
The photos don't do it justice. If you are a chicken liver enthusiast these are a MUST try. Rack of lamb so fantastic I wanted to gnaw the meat off the bone. Truffles...melt in your mouth delicious. The martini...well, it's peanut butter and chocolate..enough said. Wait staff was polite and on point. 5☆ all the way.
Great food, excellent service! Thanks Lanette you are awesome! Be sure and try the chocolate martinis, it's dessert in a glass. The Chef is superb! My steak was a perfect medium well and wasn't all burnt on the outside, that's love ! The creme brulee and raspberry cheesecake were tasty too! It's worth the drive if you live in Massillon, you won't be disappointed. We also tried the fried green tomato appetizer without the bacon. Crispy coating and delish! I enjoyed the chicken livers too. Somehow the Chef managed to remove that gamey aftertaste. One visit will make you a repeat customer. Bon Appétit!
Went last evening and sat outside…so nice! The steak was overdone and my pasta special was good but way too much sauce. Our waiter was Sam and he was very attentive and chased us down in parking lot when we forgot our to go order! Much appreciated!! Would go back and ask for him for sure!
Food and service were fabulous! Intimate and inviting atmosphere. From the gentleman holding open the door as he welcomed us in to the amazing server who laughed with us ...the staff was very pleasant and so attentive. What a wonderful first dining experience. Surely won't be our last!!
