I think the reviews here are a bit unfair, I can say this as I'm from California and have a lifetime of experience with Mexican food. First, it's fast casual, not fine dining. So don't expect a lavish interior and your personal sommelier. The chips were fresh but could have used some more salt and come a bit warmer. Salsa was mild but flavorful. It's Florida I never expect salsa with a bite. I had the tacos, two steak and one chicken. They came with two corn tortillas, like they should, and were very good. The steak was cooked perfectly and I really enjoyed them. The chicken was very flavorful but was just a bit too shredded, kind of reminding me of how tuna would look in a can. I'd prefer more chunks than the fine pieces so I don't end up with a big bite of just chicken. But as I said it was very flavorful. My wife had the steak enchiladas with red sauce. This is my one little con issue. The fluorescent lights used in the restaurant are the cool/blue lights which make bright green walls glow a bit on the intense side. This also made the red sauce look kind of a Halloween color which was shocking and a bit gory at first. (I'll leave the description at that) However they tasted great. Service was just fine, the waitress was a bit shy and my only gripe was my tacos came out a couple of minutes, not long, before my wife's plate. That's just kind of a thing with me, especially when dining for two. The rest of the menu looked great and had a wide array of choices. They also had a fair number of selections on their kids menu. Even better, although I missed it was it looks like they have a cooler stocked with Mexican sodas. I'm going to hit that on my next visit. Prices were fair if not on the low side for the portions. The two of us ate for about $20.00 and didn't leave hungry. It's worth a visit.

My husband and I ate here and it was good food and OK atmosphere. We seem to always hit these places when it's breakfast or lunch and not very many people inside. And as another person pointed out, the staff, well at least our server, seemed shy or distant. Not rude or anything, but they could use work on customer service. I get that this is a casual small eatery, but customer service makes all the difference to whether or not someone will come back or write a review like I'm doing right now. As I said good food, good portions, inexpensive. Will have to come back when they have live music.
