Zero stars needs to be an option!! This is by far the absolute worst Caribbean food I have ever had in my entire life! As a 47 year old Jamaican, I have eaten my fair share of Caribbean food. The food I received was stale and cold. It was obviously food that had been sitting for several hours (if not longer). It is so disappointing to pay for a product that is so far from even the lowest expectations. The appearance of this establishment is sub par and the food they serve is even worse. I strongly suggest that anyone who values their money choose a different restaurant to spend it in.

I have been coming to this Jamaican location for over 6 years. The previous management and cook was much professional and the cook was better. I gave this location a try even though management changed. I went into the store to purchase at 720 the store closes at 830 to grab a meal of jerk chicken no rice just cabbage the lady at the front told me no because the chef is not making anymore cabbage and they need to save the cabbage they have to serve other customers.
So you mean to tell me the policy is to not let someone purchase a meal of their choice I have never been denied or told no I can not have a meal I requested because your location decided to not cook more cabbage.
Very unprofessional and will not be back and will continue to spread the word on my experience on all platforms.

The brown stew chicken is horrible, the chicken has no seasoning, and undercooked. The cabbage taste like it’s old, no seasoning. The food looks like dog food.
The customer service is horrible !!!!

Rarely do I ever write a review. However, given my recent experience--I feel supremely compelled to do so. This is directed to the owner specifically, as you are ultimately accountable for employee performance. For reasons mostly characterized by family tradition and a strong allegiance to supporting African and African American owned businesses, I've been a Golden Krust patron since 1989. Essentially, when the first store opened on Gun Hill Road in the Bronx. As such, there is always an intentional effort to tether my money to a Golden Krust in whatever city I visit. New to the area, I have visited your business twice in the last month, purchased nearly $70 each time and also observed customer interaction. I have no fear of contradiction from anyone on the following statement--the cashier's affect, tenor and tone is woefully and grossly inept...very much like impending doom and I've never experienced or witnessed this behavior at any other franchise or business in general. Animals are trained and employees are coached/developed. As evidenced by similar feedback memorialized on this forum by other patrons--it is readily apparent that you have failed to do either. One can only presume their is a strong possibility that perhaps the employee is a relative? Hence, the reason this is happening with your complicity. Consequently, the oxtail meat portions are substandard and the curried goat was somewhat undercooked. It goes without saying, the famous patties are still famous. Honestly, the cook could have had a bad day/night and I would be willing to try again...if it weren't for the cashier. While we will continue to support Golden Krust, the unfortunate truth is that neither I, my family or friends will support you as a franchise owner.
Best of luck on ensuring your business succeeds🙏🏼

Excellent food, best to go when they open and not too late so you can make sure they still have menu options like patties left. They've been known to run out.

Cashier was a bit rude. Ordered pick up earlier in the week and it was not ready on time. Cashier asked me “well why you didn’t call to remind us?” HUH? If I placed an order with you, no matter when I placed it, it is YOUR responsibility to remember and have it ready in a timely manner, ESPECIALLY if I’ve paid you already. The audacity of such a question is mind blowing.
