Was torn as to whether or not to post a review. I have heard great things about this place and never made it until recently, a week before they are due close their doors. Rumors are that they will reopen, however as of this review their is no location disclosed.
We went to dinner with a group of 9 with reservations that were made well in advance. We arrived on time and were promptly seated. We started with drinks which came very quickly.
For appatizers our table ordered a bunch of appatizers and shared amongst the group. We had the Lina’s Housemade Meatballs (angus beef, pomodoro sauce, burrata, pine nuts, crispy basil), Burrata Flatbread )confit heirloom tomato, arugula pesto), Prince Edward Island Mussels (Thai curry, coconut milk, chili, lime, served with grilled french bread), Scallop Ceviche (pineapple, red bell pepper, jalapeno, scallions, lime juice, olive oil) and the Bisco Fries (Hand cut fries, topped with our famous house-made lobster bisque) All the appatizers came out together and were super tasty. A favorite of mine was the Bisco Fries and the Mussels (the sauce the Mussels was served in was amazing and was great when the fresh bread that was served in was dipped in.) We devoured all the appatizers with nothing left behind.
For dinner, I had the Wild Seafood Linguine (Wild gulf shrimp, viking village sea scallops, prince edward island mussels, manila clams, cherry tomatoes, basil pesto, lobster broth) It was super tasty and the portion size was decent. The rest of our table had a mixture of seafood meals or steak dinners and everyone walked out stuffed.
While I normally pass up on dessert, I could not pass up the Off the Hook S’mores (Graham cracker gelato, toasted marshmallows.) It was super tasty and displayed perfectly.
All in all, it was a great Night out. Hoping they find a new place to re open and bring back the great food and dinning atmosphere that we encountered. With just a week until rhe closed, I was expecting then to not have many menu items offered, however everything we ordered from the menu was available. Hope to see you guys back soon.
Absolutely delicious!! It is very clear how fresh and well cooked the food is. I ordered a clam chowder soup. The soup was absolutely delicious. It had a soft buttery taste with hearty ingredients. Big pieces of potato, vegetable, and clam. For my main course I ordered the seafood bake. It includes shrimp, scallops, a lobster tail, and sole. Each piece was cooked perfectly and obviously very fresh. It is a little pricey, but that is to be expected to get such fresh and delicious food. The service was great and the atmosphere was very nice. I would definitely come back !
Very lovely outdoor environment and fresh, delicious food. The lobster roll is very good, the crab cocktail is super fresh and the dipping sauce has just the right amount of spice. their fried calamari with the zucchini is super light and very yummy. The short ribs are delectable and melt-in-your-mouth. Overall a lovely experience. The service was slow, and the music was turned off before we finished our meal.... Completely changing the ambiance. typically that happens when you're in a bar at 2 a.m. and the bartender says drink them up folks! Lol. The good news is our server made it right by using his phone for the restaurant's music.
