This place is the best donut shop around. The cherry and blueberry donuts are family favorites, but you can't go wrong with any flavor!
Cedar Rapids' finest for donuts, muffins, and a great cup of coffee. Always fresh, always friendly, and that cherry donut is perfection!
The best. Many favors of donuts. The dough itself is flavored, not just the icing. Great texture, slightly crisp outside, soft inside. Love it.
Been going there since I was a child and now I take my own kids. Love Donutland and miss the locations on First Avenue and in Marion, which were on my way home. #1 donuts for me, best taste anywhere.
I don't know that I've tasted better doughnuts, anywhere! Great service and phenomenal pastries!
I haven’t been since I was a kid, and I’ve been spoiled with great donuts in Chicago. So I was worried about coming back and that these would taste like a Dunkin Donut, which is not good. But, I was blown away by how good these donuts still are!! The Cherry and blueberry are my favorite. I was so happy, I went back the next day!
If we are talking quality of donuts, these are undoubtedly the best donuts I’ve ever had. I have traveled the united states for a better donut and have yet to even have one come close. Even the most famous donut shops don’t stand a chance to this Cedar Rapids gem..hope you guys open a larger location because you could use the space and extra help!! Yummm
Worked here when i was 16 or so... Loved it. And since Vicki sold, i was a little afraid it was going to go downhill or things were going to change. The new owner has done tremendous though, great customer service in the mornings and kept the same recipes! Now there's a blueberry cream old fashioned donut and it is pretty impressive! Great job to the staff and owner... I won't ever cheat on you with krispy kreme or dunkin donuts ever!!
I love that you buy six or 12 and you get a special deal. They are very fresh and good! They've been around since 1971, they know what they're about.
Was on a sentimental journey back to the Cedar Rapids/Marion, Iowa in May(from Florida). Wanted to take old roads to western Iowa. On the way out of town, (west side of C.R.)what do I see, but a relic from my past. OMG. I couldn't believe that they had saved/recreated one of the mainstays from my childhood. Doughnutland! My husband had never had these in western Iowa growing up. We pulled in, and sat with our calorie rich find and a cup of joe, while I basked in the atmosphere. What wonderful memories. We even bought MERCH. Now friends and family who also remember Doughnutland are chomping at the bit to get some of their own MERCH. Sadly the website does not offer what I was able to get. What a shame.
Still was such a NICE surprise, and such great people there too.
