We had breakfast here and it was awesome. Service was great, food was great, very good portions (couldn’t finish mine). We will definitely be going back. They serve breakfast on Saturday and Sundays.
This place has great lunch specials. Awesome atmosphere. Great people behind the bar & in the kitchen! But they have the best burgers in the Cedar Rapids area!
I have been a Safari patron since the mid 70's living in Cedar Rapids. The food was always great and Chappy has continued that tradition. I no longer live in Cedar Rapids but I always make it one of my goto stops each time I visit. The Triple Pork sandwich is a fantastic breaded pork tenderloin with ham and bacon added to make it that much better. Who can go wrong ordering a sandwich with 3 kinds of pork. Try Chappy's Safari.........You will be glad you did.
My husband and I had the triple pork which is a tenderloin with Bacon and ham with cheese. Very delicious!
Our waitress/bartender was very attentive, kept our drinks filled and fixed a mistake quickly.

Great food and service. Salads are huge and full of veggies. Meatloaf special on Weds is amazing, but runs out fast so get there early! Also, delicious bread pudding.
I LOVE Safari's!! I always have a great and fun time there with my friends. I love singing Kareoke and Jason the DJ is awesome! The bartenders there are so nice and are quick to get drinks. I went here for my bacherolette party and it was so much fun!!
Captain and cokes and karaoke with Jessy! What a way to spend a friday night. Even the fact i had to work the next day didn't dampen my desire for the $5 drinks. They obviously got the job done. Can't wait to go back and share the love of singing(some of us off key) with a very diverse group of people that i look forward to spending the evening with again.

Pizza is great, super clean kitchen, great staff. Would benefit us all to have the kitchen open until 10 as it was before, and more specials (tenderloin Wednesdays, pizza Mondays) or activities like bar games it something would knock this place out of the park!!
If hungry won't be after trip to Safari. Staff was on point, pleasant. Food was real good like mom said real beef. Will be going back.
