My prayers have been answered!! After working downtown for most of the year starving to death at my desk because there is NO WHERE to have a descent breakfast or lunch or even coffee downtown, I stumbled across this place today in the Cedar Rapids library!! The coffee is Amazing and the food is to die for, everyone that works downtown should support this local treasure 😍😘 Thank you Grayhound Deli for being fantastic!!
I tend to decide where to eat based on the atmosphere and the people that work here are the reason I stop in multiple times a week, along with the awesome food and made from scratch soups. I have also catered from here many times for work and they always do an amazing job!
I often venture to the library location, enjoying both delicious literature and delicious coffee. The wonderful barista suggested I try raspberry in with my white mocha. What? Raspberry you say? Yes. That lovely little pink berry, that you wouldn't always instantly picture with coffee.
....it was probably the best thing I'd ever tasted. She was wonderful, personable, friendly, and a genius, and served me one of the tastiest coffee drinks I'd ever had. Kudos, y'all.

The Wheel just might be one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. It's to die for!
They sell a selection of good but expensive food and drink. They never run out of seating and the area has a calm bright atmosphere. I would eat here way more if the food was cheaper.
I have only had coffee from here, so can't speak for the food. Every drink I've had has been excellent and the staff have been very accommodating and friendly. They were happy to make a drink that wasn't listed on the menu!
The food was really good and they guys working were really friendly. The options were really nice if you are a vegan get the "Wheel" its amazing just fyi. It kind of took awhile but it was lunch hour and they only had two people working so they did pretty good for how many people there were.
Love, Love, Love Greyhound Cafe and am very happy to have such good food available at the Downtown Library. From salads to sandwiches to the soups to the array of coffee specialty drinks, I've had almost all of them all and have never been disappointed. :)
Excellent coffe!!! My favorite is the mocha latte. It's a nice relaxing place especially since it's in a library :) I would recommend a bell at the counter though just for aesthetics.
