Best brisket I've ever had. Prices are just right service was good. Will return again for sure next time I'm in town.
Went for dinner on a Saturday. We were seated right away and our server was great! I think our food may have been left out for a little while because it was about room temperature. I had brisket and was a little disappointed. There wasn't much flavor and it was a little dry. The other person got the Pick 3 with ribs and brisket. He said the ribs were good but, felt the same about the brisket. Sides were Ok. The baked beans aren't very different from any other baked beans, the potato salad was good, and waffle fries were good. I did try the "spicy" mac n cheese. I didn't find it too spicy. It was a tad over priced for what it was but, not bad. I will probably return again.
Good selection of local regional and national beers. They smoke their own meats. I have a taste of the pork ribs which were nicely smoked yet moist. Jennifer was our server and she was delightful, made our experience there that much more enjoyable.
Long story. Ordered 2 appetizers, jumbo shrimp w/Bourbon BBQ sauce & 3 ribs w/ fries. Shrimp not jumbo and had drizzle of sauce. They were the steamed ones like you buy at grocery. Not fried/sautéed, just plain. Ribs cooked hard as stone, could not even break them apart. But waitress was very apologetic and my meal comped and ribs/fries replaced with hot, good ones. The stars are for their professionalism. 4 sauces were good and my neat Bullet bourbon was at least 2 shots each round. That was not comped. I'll probably give them another try.
