There was a misunderstanding on my behalf when the shop was closed for remodeling. I left a crappy review because I didn't know. I apologize for that and would like to say they have the best coffee in town!

This coffee shop is like the Cheers Bar. You walk in and they know your name. Robin and staff are the best and their coffee & muffins rock.

I'll give four stars because the coffee is really good and the breakfast sandwiches are tasty. But after leaving a 15% tip for someone handing me a sandwich over the counter, I don't appreciate being charged for a splash of heavy cream in my coffee. I mean, the place is called the coffee emporium, why would you charge extra for cream?? The younger ladies in the cafe are friendly but the older one who prepares the food isn't that cordial, unless she knows you from being a regular. I've gone there twice at the recommendation of the front desk clerks at the DoubleTree hotel three blocks away and I haven't been greeted. It doesn't take much to say hello to a customer when they come into your place of business. t's a good thing I won't let that deter me from having a decent breakfast but it would be nice to be greeted upon walking in. I also hope they get swiss cheese back on their menu, it's so much tastier on the ham breakfast sandwich than provolone. Thank you.
I am only giving four stars because I don't drink coffee and I can't read it based on that. I had some delicious Earl Gray tea while I was there
My girlfriend and I went here for some coffee and it turns out they have food! I got a breakfast panini and it was so good! Fresh ingredients for sure! The coffee is very good too!
Also, they have toast that you can get on its own. I love toast and this is the first place I've found that has just toast! So awesome! ❤️
