Went for lunch for the first time the other day and had the warmest welcome from the owner. She explained some of the dishes and was refreshingly friendly. It got a bit busy so I didnโ€™t get the fastest service but that is okay. You can tell these ladies work incredibly hard and the proof is directly in the food. The Spicy Pork Bento box was phenomenal. I love all the sides included and the flavor of the pork. Canโ€™t wait to be back again!

As a Korean, I can confidently say that the taste of food here is truly authentic. I tried Seolleong-tang & Sikhye. The soup tasted fantastic with a generous portion of beef. The prices are reasonable. The staff was kind enough to refill the side dish and the restaurant is clean. If living at UC, this restaurant will be my top go-to place. BTW, when I was served Sikhye, I didn't initially recognize what it was. I thought it was one of the sauces for the soup ;-) The cute container for Sikhye caught my eye, it's sweet, try it.

Our first time dining in a strictly Korean venue restaurant... And it was wonderful and the food was outstanding!!! The staff was great and the (owner/manager??) was delightful to talk to about the menu items and how they were prepared... She even suggested a dessert (a type of milk/water block shaved ice...) that resembles NOTHING like we have ever had before, very ornate, lite tasting, with fresh fruit and different colored sauces... Definitely a place to bring family and friends to and we will be back many times to come!!
