Stopped by on an annual trip through the area and were happy to see the new business at River Cafe! The food is focused on local sources and the menu has a great variety with reasonable prices. We had the fried chicken sandwhich with the delicous hand-cut fries and a burger with the impressive macaroni salad. Our warm cup of tea and coffee hit the spot, and we saved room for a piece of the amazing maple glazed applesauce cake - so yummy! Pat was very friendly and offered excellent service. The atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing, and we appreciated the little touches that made for a great lunch. I highly recommened stopping by the next time you are in the area for a great experience!

Loved this spot! Food was delicious but it was the waitress that rly made the place special.

Had a wonderful time here! Visiting from out of state and this place came recommended by a local man at a gas station. The staff was helpful and the food was very fresh. Only about 15 minutes between ordering and serving. We had the best server, (I think her name was Sasha?) Definitely request her when coming in, she was so sweet and so helpful to me and my elderly grandparents. If the owner is reading, definitely give this girl a raise! She deserves it!!
