We came here to eat before going to the outlet mall. There was no line and plenty of space between tables. I had lasagna and my granddaughter had 1/2 mizithra & 1/2 meat sauce spaghetti. My wife had a salad & broccoli. I like the fresh baked bread and it all came out in a very timely manner. We choose 1 vanilla & 1 spumoni ice cream as dessert. Our waitress was great and we had 2 managers check on us. It was a good choice today
It's not overly complicated, but it's really good simple food. We had been before but tonight was even better. I love garlic sauces so I got the garlic mizithra, which I had never heard of. It's amazing. Very rich and the mizithra cheese is great, I'd never heard of it before. We got a breast of parmesan chicken to share and it was a great add-on for the price. It goes great with the mizithra when the seasonings in the chicken and marinara sauce meet the taste of the garlicky pasta. Caesar salad was very good as well, and the salad, bread and dessert are all included with a meal for no extra cost. Nobody does a value like that anymore. We got a half canteen of sangria, and it was good. Pretty simple but a good drink. Good price for 2 servings. We'll be back mainly for the value proposition.
As a chain restaurant, it offers all the obligatory Italian dishes but nothing extraordinary. Everything tastes good, and it's pretty fast unless it's peak dining time. The little trolley dining area is kind of fun, so knock yourself out there. Very pleasant ambiance, and the dinners come with salad and ice cream at a reasonable price. Overall it's pretty good food for a good value. It's tough to be a highly rated chain Italian restaurant in St. Louis when there are so many outstanding Italian restaurants on the Hill.
The food was very good... Everyone is wearing masks... Tables are nicely separated... I've never been there before, it's very nicely decorated and very clean...my only issue was our server was terrible. ☹️
