It was my first time eating Ethiopian food. We started with an appetizer sampler and had the family style platter (half meats & half vegetables) for our main meal. It was the best way to sample the many varieties of dishes they have to offer. The food was excellent, very well seasoned. It was a different kind of dining experience for us but we all really enjoyed it and will definitely go back again. The staff was super friendly, from the hostess to our server, and others who stopped by to make sure we had every thing we needed.

We had a delicious meal at Demera! The food was amazing - we started with the spinach sambusas (perfect, nice spice) and then our super friendly server helped us pick out 3 vegetable dishes and 3 meat dishes. ALL were wonderful. It wasn't a cheap meal but it was worth it!

I’ve never had Ethiopian food before and this place did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the service was impeccable. We were very impressed. I wish I was local; I would eat here once a week!
