This was my first introduction to Ethiopian food a few years ago and I have since become an Ethiopian food enthusiast in my hometown of Houston. Came back again this week to Chicago and my only request food wise was to dine here again & have a deep dish from Lou Malnatti's (The Lou). I was not disappointed and my dining experience here was one of the best of the year. It was even better than I remembered. :)

We tried different Ethiopian restaurant in Chicago, Ethiopian Diamond is the best Ethiopian restaurant in Chicago. The food is always delicious whatever you choose even if my favourite Is lamb Chekla with a lot of awase sauce on side it's addicted and spicy. Service is attentive and friendly. Try this place. It really worth it.

My first experience with Ethiopian cuisine could not have been more awesome! The staff is friendly, helpful and courteous. The food is PHENOMENAL! I was little apprehensive at first; I am a very picky eater. However, my nervousness was put to rest at the first bite. I was very impressed in the amount of vegetarian dishes that I had to choose from. The tea is to die for! I will definitely be visiting again.
