Carrie was the sweetest, after my 5.5 hour drive I stumbled on this gem, and she immediately offered to sample out different options so I could choose my favs! Great service and amazing prices! Drunken chicken and voodoo chicken were next level! 🥰
Our experience here was great! The staff were friendly and attentive, the restaurant was clean and the food was delicious. We got the Bourbon street chicken and the drunken chicken, and some bread pudding for dessert. The meal itself was well worth the cost too. I don't think we'd get the bread pudding again, but we'd go out of our way to come back for the gumbo itself!
When I visited this location, it was my first Cajun experience. Now I can’t live without Cajun food. Every single time I dine here, the experience is as vivid as the first time.
I’m always impressed by how all the employees are knowledgeable of their products and proud of what they serve.
Recently I found out that they can provide cornbread as an alternative to their toast. I’ve never tried it because they told its sweet, and sweet cornbread is not my taste, though I’m sure they make great one. But I wish they would make southern style non-caky cornbread, and that would make their gumbo even more perfect.
I was so hungry I didn't snap a pic. My BF loves this place. His bday was last week. What better way to celebrate then eating voodoo nachos 😋 👌🏾
First time going there and she gave me a sample of one of the gumbos. The lady who placed our order was helpful. Definitely will be back. Ask for cornbread with the gumbo instead of the french bread (I promise it’s worth it).
