If you manage your expectations, you'll have a decent experience. Though this is a world class concert hall, they aren't set up for a top-notch restaurant. An outside service provides the dining services. The restaurant serves essentially country club fare with some contemporary touches. Dining here is about convenience, and when you take this into account, the prices are resonable, and wine prices are very reasonable. The music being piped-in to the dining room is bizarre - 30-second snippets of famous themes. For example, 20 seconds of Claire de Lune will give way to the loudest bars of Holst's Mars, and then to Gershwin's American in Paris followed by the Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik and then the opening of Night on Bald Mountain. Then it will go into Offenbach's "Can Can". It's highly irritating. Regardless, I'd go there again for convenience and decent food.

Although I am NOT a fan of buffets, Severance restaurant may have the best buffet I have ever had. Each night they have a beef, chicken and/or fish, pasta, salad and the selections all are reasonably interesting. The wine list is rather pedestrian, but the ambiance and service are decent. There aren't too many fine dining choices before a Cleveland Orchestra concert, and this one is terribly convenient and has decent food.

This is the kind of place that people return to for family gatherings, romantic evenings and special celebrations.
