I came here after an article in Stock & Barrel and am so glad I did. We got the hummus, grape leaves, lamb pallow and a couple gyro plates. The lamb on the pallow was so tender and perfect. The hummus was the best, though. Go get some!

I am sad to see this place go. I hope it opens back up after construction. They have great food. I usually get a samosa and a gyro sandwich they have a delicious sauce that is a little different from a traditional tzatziki. The only thing I would like to see improve cleanliness. All main surfaces are clean but there are fingerprints on equipment and dirt under equipment and in corners.

Two words: Kabuli pallow. One of the most delicious dishes in existence. The price on this particular meal has steadily increased, but it's worth it. It's an Afghani dish (the place used to be called Cafe Kabul and had beautiful Afghani decorations). Although there's a steady flow of college kids, the staff and dine-in clientele are typically foreign, but from various regions of the Islamic world. Why is that relevant? Because it is a badge of authenticity and shows the owner's dedication to his community. This is a melting pot example of "the American dream" with amazing food as the foundation.
