I love it there. I can find so many dishes that I became accustomed to in Los Angeles and Washington DC. Last week, I had Egg Foo Yung, delicious, I was told in advance “they don’t do brown gravy,” I chose Sweet and Sour Sauce. The owner is kind and personable, once I saw her early one Mothers’ Day morning buying roses for customers, she asked me to explain the significance of rose colors for Mothers’ Day and I did. She runs an excellent restaurant and her staff cares.
This is the best chinese food in conyers or covington the owner Kelly Li is like your family .
Mandarin Garden Always Best. In Conyers, the best Chinese restaurant is Mandarin Garden. For take out or eat in, there is no better place for Chinese. My personal favorites are the Braised Beef, Garlic Shrimp (not on the menu but available when asked) and the House Special Fried Rice.
Great food, friendly atmosphere. I've been going to this place for over 10 years. The owners always welcome me in and remember what I like there. The food is great. If you aren't sure about what you want, try the buffet for lunch. It is a great price for the all-you-can-eat food.
This place is good Chinese food. They give you large portions and fresh rice. Everything is fresh. I know this sounds wild but I love the poo poo platter. You can share so I would suggest order one entree and sharing or get you a to go box and eat next day. They are nice people in there. I think they have a lunch buffet early but since Covid I doubt it.
I live in Conyers. I read the reviews below and went the vast majority who rate with 4 or 5 stars. I ordered happy family and white rice and asked for extra spicy. I made my order from the parking lot, walked over paid, waited about 5 minutes, and picked it up. went he and ate. it was wonderful. I also want to address something I see in one comment that is at least questionable and probably much more sinister intent. My visit was 12/24/20 and there was take out only, paid out side, no done in. 7 months ago a reviewer claims to have found bugs I'm food, even posts a photo of a glass/ceramic dish. That was May and there wasn't a resturant around allowing dine in. So your contention is your carryout was in dishware and not paper. Yeah right.
Great food at a good price. Some if the best Chinese food I've eaten. I wish they would open for dine in!! It is a but of a drive for me to get here but worth it.
We met with friends at this spot for a meeting. my friend recommended this spot. Well, it was a winning. we were warmly welcomed by the crew and we felt good. The meal was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed every moment and we shall absolutely come back again. Warmly recommended.
