This place was recommended by Patty at Rose and Thistle Bed and Breakfast. It was without a doubt one of the best meals I have ever had. We started with the calamari which was delicious, salad came next. It was a great salad dressing and the beef tenderloin was probably the best I have ever had. It was so worth spending my birthday there. We even got to meet the owner/chef Mel. I can't wait to go back.

M husband and I Just ordered two blackened chicken sandwiches.. let me tell you..... Sooooooooo amazing. We have eaten at Mel's alot.. This sandwich is rediculously amazing.. compliments to the chef for making top quality food. We are so happy to have you guys so close to home.. you have been superb and always welcoming. The brunch we had after my wedding was amazing. This is one of the best places to eat in coop. So if your just visiting it's a must and we'll if your a local you know it a must. Thanks guys.

Our food was excellent - chicken parmesan for me and sirloin for my husband. There homemade marinara was amazing! Service was great from the hostess you the waiter staff. The owner was walking around talking to the guests, making it all a great atmosphere. Highly recommend going!
